Falcon 4G

Falcon 4G

Long-Range Active Stand-Off Chemical Detector

Falcon 4G is a 4th generation active stand-off detector based on eye-safe and undetectable laser technology that can detect, identify and quantify Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) and Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs) at long distances up to 6 km.

    CHEM (CWA, TIC)
  • Detection
  • Indentification
  • Quantification
  • Up to 5 km
  • Best sensitivity on the market
  • Distance to the cloud without triangulation
  • Independent of the background temperature
  • Expandable Database
  • 16+ MIL standards
  • Tested with real CWA

A significant factor in its success is that our Patent Protected Technology can detect in environments that were previously thought impossible, including high humidity, rain, or any temperature range.

Falcon Guard - New Operator Control Software

  • Enhanced UX and interaction design for effortless operation
  • Compatible with external C2 and control software
  • Improved user experience available in English or your local language

Easy Integration on Multiple Platforms

  • Modular design
  • Digital C2 interfaces
  • API-based
  • Rugged construction
  • Plug-and-play

Falcon 4G succeeded in challenging environments.*

  • Hot Desert
  • Harsh Winter
  • High Humidity
  • Marine Conditions

*Tested with real CWA.

Active stand-off detection uses its own energy source — a tuneable laser. SEC's patented technology employs a pulsed CO₂ laser based on the principles of Differential Absorption LIDAR (DIAL). Falcon 4G does not analyse the full absorption spectrum; instead, it evaluates absorption at two gas-specific wavelengths: λON — strongly absorbed by the gas, and λOFF — minimally absorbed by the gas.

The DIAL system has the following advantages

  • No physical contact with the agent
  • Detection of average concentration of the chemical on the detection path (not only locally)
  • Large detection range (CWA - up to 5km)
